<itunes:summary>Have you ever wondered what it might be like to get involved in making a film from behind the scenes? It’s a LOT of hard work! Harry D, Miani and Taylor speak with 12 year old Asha Singh, who was the production assistant involved in the making of a futuristic martial arts movie called ‘Future Shift’! This film was produced by Asha’s mother Suza Singh, and has a special story to go with it, so check out this pod to find out more. Here is Asha with her mum and some of the crew at the movie premiere. And how cool is the song ‘Future Shifting’ – opening score for the film!

The team also talk about body image with psychologist Denise Greenaway, (below) who is the author of the great book ‘Finding Artemisia: a journey into ancient women’s business’. Denise is Spokesperson on body image for the Australian Psychological Society, media commentator for numerous Australian magazine and successful campaigner for healthy eating in schools – rainbowfood.com. And remember, as the team say – everyone is beautiful in their own way! Then Taylor shares a news item about multimillionaire Dennis Tito’s plan to send tourists to Mars (as you do when you have nothing better to do with all your millions!) and the team Talk Turkey about body image… it’s a great show so check out the pod!
Music tracks: ‘Future Shifting’ by Suza Singh, ‘Mars’ by Kate Finkelstein and ‘New Perpsective’ by Frank Dixon
Music cuts: ‘Kung Fu Fighting’ by Carl Douglas, ‘Video’ by India Arie & ‘Space Oddity’ by David Bowie (the really weird version!)

<itunes:summary>Anna, Hannah and Miani host a great show! On ‘Reading Matters’ Lachlann Carter, program director from the 100 Story Building Program, talks about this awesome project that provides fun, engaging writing programs for disadvantaged children and young people in Melbourne’s inner west.
The team also have some excellent wonder words that link to both writing and reading matters, and in ‘Diffuse the News’ Miani covers an inspiring story about a polyglot teenager… yes polyglot… and if your are wondering what that means, then stay tuned for wonder words!
On ‘From Little Things Big Things Grow’ the team speak with Sophie Taylor, the Jane Goodall Institute Australia’s Volunteer Community Engagement Coordinator, who is taking on the ‘Live The Change’ 21 day challenge. Sophie’s blog is fantastic – she writes about ways we can make more ethical and sustainable decisions in everyday life.

<itunes:summary>The count down is on for the SNAE ‘Trash on Your Back’ Sister Nation 5 Day Challenge that is launching on Earth Day on April 22nd and Chloe, Megan and Miani spoke with the founder of this great initiative on the line from California. Diana Dehn is the host and founder of Sustainability News and Entertainment radio in USA and she came up with this wacky idea last year of getting people to walk around for 5 days carrying all their non-perishable trash on their backs… so listen to this podcast to find out why!
Plus the team share some great wonder words such as ‘emancipation’ to lead in to their chat with Steph Wollard, founder of the Seven Women Co-op in Nepal, a charity co-operative that works to emancipate marginalized and disabled women through education and micro-business. Seven Women’s manager, Anitta Kerr (right) was the equal winner (with Nasha Lamoti of Tanzania) of the inaugural SBN 2012 International Indigenous Youth Award.
